Our Guest Speaker: Tracy Fontana of Swiit
Tracy’s bold leap from between-businesses expat/entrepreneur with ZERO experience in the food industry to co-proprietor of an organic gelateria in the Gotic that has become a neighborhood destination and received rave reviews in its first year of business. If you’re mulling a business idea but don’t think you have the know-how or credentials to pull it off, Tracy’s story might change your mind.
Tracy and her Italian husband Giovanni lived in Milan, San Francisco, Sardinia before moving to Barcelona eight years ago. They have three teenage children and have run many businesses together, including a travel consulting firm in the US and a design and communications studio in the Costa Smeralda. Swiit is the latest entrepreneurial adventure.
Business Juice Is Made Possible By:
Big Crazy Leap is a story project about risk takers who are quietly, surprisingly so. They’re people who carry a dream, believe in a goal, or pursue a life change that is – on paper – bonkers. Or, at least not an obvious fit to the people who know them, work with them, maybe even live with them.

Business Juice Event Sponsorships
Our goal is to provide a great event at minimal cost to those who come. So, we’re interested in cultivating local sponsors to help provide breakfast, comfortable venue, and funds for other expenses, like photography and name tags and the like.
Sponsoring a Business Juice event is a super way to reach the local expat ‘preneur community.
In return for a 50€ donation, Business Juice Event Sponsors are featured in the following ways:
Their logo and a short description appear on the BWN Business Juice event page.
They are mentioned on the Facebook Event post, and in the Upcoming Events section of the BWN Home page.
They are mentioned in BWN calendar listings.
They receive recognition at the event, such as through a presentation slide and/or “Made Possible By” signs at the sign-in table.
They are recognized in any follow-up campaign sent to attendees.
